Use the sliders
Six settings are a matter of how much rather than on or off, so they're sliders. Each sits at the end of its section in Browse all.
How they work
- Drag the slider. The value on the right updates as you go.
- Let go. Mainspring writes the value then — not while you drag — so the Dock or Finder relaunches once, not on every step.
A slider starts at your Mac's current value. If you've never changed that setting, it starts at the value in the table.

Dock magnification switches magnification on
Setting Dock magnification size also turns on Dock magnification, so you actually see the size you picked when you hover over the Dock.
Faster than System Settings allows
System Settings stops the tracking-speed sliders at 3. Mainspring's Mouse tracking speed and Trackpad tracking speed go to 8, and Scrolling speed goes past the System Settings maximum too. macOS reads these three only when you log in, so log out and back in after changing them.
Undoing a slider
Sliders don't have an off switch — drag back to the value you had. They aren't counted in On now, but a scene can include slider values.
