Here is every recipe that ships with Mainspring 3.3.1 and every power-up it turns on. The lists are generated from the app's own catalog. Click any power-up to see the exact macOS setting behind it.

Apply any recipe from Home with Apply; undo it with Revert. How that works is in Apply and revert a recipe.

Screenshot Studio

Makes cleaner, smaller screenshots with no shadow or thumbnail.

Applying it sets these 3 power-ups:

• Remove screenshot drop shadow — Removes the soft shadow around window screenshots for clean edges.
• Skip the floating screenshot thumbnail — Saves screenshots straight to disk without the floating preview thumbnail.
• Save screenshots as JPG — Saves screenshots as smaller JPG files instead of PNG.

Speed Boost

Makes your Mac feel snappier with faster Dock animations.

Applying it sets these 4 power-ups:

• Show the Dock instantly — Removes the delay before the auto-hidden Dock appears.
• Faster Dock hide/show animation — Speeds up the Dock's hide and show animation.
• Stop the Dock launch bounce — Disables the bounce animation when apps launch.
• Faster Mission Control animation — Speeds up the Mission Control zoom animation.

Finder Power PREMIUM

Adds the path bar, status bar, list view, and smarter search.

Applying it sets these 6 power-ups:

• Show the Finder path bar — Shows the current folder's path along the bottom of Finder windows.
• Show the Finder status bar — Shows item count and free space at the bottom of Finder windows.
• Keep folders on top when sorting — Groups folders above loose files in every Finder window.
• Default to list view — Opens new Finder windows in list view. Folders you have already set to another view keep it.
• Search the current folder by default — Searches only the current folder instead of your whole Mac.
• No warning when changing a file extension — Skips the warning when you change a file's extension.

Developer Setup PREMIUM

Sets up a developer-friendly Mac with seven handy Finder and keyboard tweaks.

Applying it sets these 7 power-ups:

• Show hidden files in Finder — Shows the hidden files Finder normally keeps out of sight.
• Show all file extensions — Always shows each file's extension, like .txt or .jpg.
• Faster key repeat — Makes a held-down key repeat faster across the screen. (takes full effect after you log out)
• Shorter delay until key repeat — Shortens the pause before a held key starts repeating. (takes full effect after you log out)
• Disable press-and-hold accent menu — Lets a held key repeat instead of showing accents. (takes full effect after you log out)

• Turn off Look Up web suggestions — Keeps your Look Up searches on your Mac, not Apple's servers.

• Disable period on double-space — Stops a period appearing when you tap space twice.

• Always show scrollbars — Keep scrollbars visible instead of only while scrolling.

• Hide desktop icons — Hides every icon on the desktop for a clean background.
• Stop click-to-reveal desktop — Keeps a stray click on the wallpaper from sweeping your windows aside.
• Hide desktop widgets — Removes calendar, stocks, and other widgets from the desktop.
• Hide the Stage Manager strip — Hides the side column of window thumbnails while Stage Manager is on.
• Auto-hide the Dock — Hides the Dock until you move your pointer to its edge.
